Following informal sailing on Saturday 8th prior to the AGM at 1800hours it is planned to have the combined fleet sail in company on Sunday 9th April. Leaving McLeod Bay at 1030 hours we plan to sail around McDonald Bank in a clockwise direction before returning to the Bay. The forecast Easterly wind should make this an excellent spectacle from the shore. Get your cameras ready.

'Sail in company'?  Hmm.  I think you'll see some jostling for position that in other circles would be regarded as racing!

Graeme Kenyon was relating to me some of the activities of this weekend, and included this wonderful definition of sailing in company, which perhaps the Jester Challengers might adopt:

On the second day there was a “sail in company” around the bay, which was not meant to be a race, but, of course, all participants looked sideways at the others and hoped to sail into the lead.

The Corinthian Spirit in a nutshell!
