We're currently in Shelly Park, unearthing Fantail from the mud. Assuming that there's a boat underneath the goop, well be heading northwards before too long. Yippee!!!

Name on hull was and will be J&B when i get my new lettering -  not the oracle but the inbiders will love that!  SAR regulations say no "&" as rather difficult to spell over a radio. Offically documentation was invalidated in UK and reissued as plain Julliet Bravo.

Name J&B dates back to launch 1965 - original - so will remain proudly displayed!

Ah, that explains it.  Did you know that (reportedly) J&B is the whisky of choice for alcoholics in the US.  This is because it's so light coloured and you can drink it neat while pretending that it is, in fact, whisky and water!  I'm not sure I've actually seen it for sale, here.  If I'm not buying the cheapest, which is usually the case, I buy Grouse.  (Not that I can tell the difference, but one has one's pretensions!)

As I recall, you have no sail, at present, so we can't hope to see you until the new one is completed, but I hope you'll be coming up to Whangarei on your way north.  I'll bet Fantail is happy to have some bird-scarers back on board!

J&B now has full complement of crew for race day and berths full over evenings.

Chris Freeman  and partner are the welcome partners for the regatta.

Hello all. We are Megan and conti, we have been doing heaps of research into junk rigs and we want to convert our H28 to a split junk rig.

We would be interested in crewing any time early January as we are up in the BoI, in particular we would love to participate in the tall ship regatta.

You can contact us on 0212045324.
