Thank you Graham, a very interesting article.

Amazing to hear how Tim stumbled across her in the most unlikely place!  The mystery of the third boat is interesting.  Does anyone on here know what happened to her?

Was there not another boat called China Blue up on the Clyde?  About 35 feet, ketch, jointed battens, owned by a Graham Collins, who is listed on this site, but whose e-mail address seems to be defunct?  Was the ketch ever sold, or is she still somewhere on the Clyde?

This is she, met in the Channel in 2014. Last seen that year in Falmouth Harbour. I think she has changed owners since then.

I also want to thank Graham Cox for his fascinating article about the other China Blue in the current magazine.

Thanks for the appreciation, Zane.  Putting together an article like this is a lot of hard work and it is good to know you enjoyed it.  Jester and her sisters hold a special place in the junk rig pantheon.  Your boat has a good pedigree!

    Excellent article thank you Graham.

Tim and China Blue have spent many fascinating years together, and I thoroughly enjoyed learning the history of the boat, and Tim's sailing exploits on her.

Owning a sister ship in spirit at least - a Contessa, perhaps I am biased, but should win an award for JR article of the year.

    Thoroughly recommended reading.
