In the swap, sell and buy there was this advert for a delightful Coromandel.

I own one - highly recommended for one person and sometimes two.

    This is the advert:

You can turn it into this and have tons of fun at little expense. Slowly converting her into  your own little gem.

And since Chris sailed Emmeline from the South of England to Holland, she could clearly be sailed back :-)

My father used to say: 'thems as asks may not get, but thems as don't ask, don't want".  Sometimes it's worth being a bit cheeky.  If I were you, I would use the form on the membership list to email any member who has the sort of boat you want.  (This will show the email as coming via the JRA, so the recipient will know it's kosher.)

There are quite a few boats that aren't 'seriously for sale', but might be if someone is offering a fair price ...

I have been looking for a JR bilge keeled Yacht for about three months and want to use it on the River Tamar and surrounding areas. Having sent dozens of emails and made endless phone calls, I am finding that nearly every advert for JR Yachts are years out of date.

If anyone knows of any useable junk rigged yachts are coming up for sale please feel free to either call me on 07525689120 or email me steve@ccgc.org.uk. I am quite happy to give the yacht the TLC it needs, but I really don't have the confidence to buy a yacht and covert it myself. I really don't want to find out I got my calculations wrong whilst paddling around in the river!
