Well first of all sorry for having been absent from these fora for a few months now (and thanks Annie for the email reminder!). Left the boat in December in order to earn some money over the winter. Not much time for sailing let alone junk rig topics since.

Hmm that and the unfortunate fact that the site's a bit cumbersome to navigate on my own computer.

The good news however are that I have a potential crew member for TIN HAU :) The only problem I'm now facing is that she's not sure whether sailing's for her. Apart from a two day trip on the Lake of Constance she hasn't got any experience to speak of and my own boat's not ready yet. Been considering to charter but at least my online search didn't come up with anything in the sub 30ft region. Don't really fancy handling the usual BAV/BEN 40 footer!

Apart from that I could do with a few more training lessons myself before heading out. Crewing seems to be the best option I think and of course this years rallies. Am I correct that the crewing forum is read only? Not that there's currently too much activity but I normally would have posted there. Any other hints, suggestions etc welcome!

    cheers

    Patric,
I combined the "crew" forum with the "for sale" forum, because neither was being used very much, and now the "noticeboard" forum does both jobs. Try a note there.
With spring having come, maybe you folks in the northern hemisphere will be getting out sailing, and can offer Patric a berth?
    David.
