    Just a thought here in Australia a growing number of marinas now require full comprehensive insurance policy's to berth at their facility I am told that the insurance companies are behind this push but no ones prepared to put it in writing when asked !

    Third party from Helvetia no problem. Nobody who is capable of working on a boat needs more than third party insurance!

    I am very new the the JRA and I am considering converting a M G Spring 25 to JR and using all the advice and assistance from the JRA to determine the various aspects of the convertion. The question is will I have a problem getting insurance for the boat with a DIY convertion.Are there any insurance companies that specialise in insurance for these boats?
