41ft Steel Shoal Draft Junk-Rigged Schooner
£12,500
Currently lying in Penryn, Cornwall
If you're looking for a strong, roomy, capable cruising yacht with character, simplicity, and huge potential at a very modest price, she deserves a serious look.
Built in Ireland by a husband-and-wife team and launched in 2003. Matthew was a plater/welder turned boat builder. The owners' priority was always sailing rather than cosmetic perfection, resulting in a practical and spacious vessel that has proven herself in coastal cruising.
She sailed from Ireland to Cornwall and cruised extensively in both areas until 2021. Since then she has been ashore in a yard in Penryn.
