    Bonjour

    Merci Jan.

Yesterday I went to an event around the Semaine du Golfe du Morbihan at the Nautic (French boat show).

I confirme that the junkrig boats should be in Flotille N°5.

The prospective program of flotille 5 is :

Monday 15/5: Part Navalo - stop at Ile d'Arz - night Ile d'Arz

Tuesday 16: Ile d'Arz - (till the afternoon ) -night at Port Navalo

Wednesday 17 : Port Naval - stop at Arradon - night at Ile aux Moines

Thursday 18 : Ile aux Moines - stop at Arradon- night at Arradon

Friday 19 : Arradon - stop at St Gildas du Ruy - night at Port Navalo

Saturday : Port Navalo - stop at St Gildas du Ruy - night at Ile aux Moines

Sunday : Grande Parade from the Golfe entrance to Port Blanc

Each flotille is leed by a motor boat managed by the flotilla manager. There is a breefing evry morning at breakfast (or during the evening meeting if the start is early. There is also a support zodiac dedicated to each flotillla.

I've started this thread in the general forum as the other thread about the event is in the members area.

The program for La semaine has been published on the official website:

    https://www.semainedugolfe.com/files/1780/Semaine_du_Golfe_2023_-_d%C3%A9pliant_promotionnel.pdf

It seems that Flotille 5, which Eric is hoping to have the junk boats having a mini-flotilla within, will be based around Arradon midweek. So far Ming Ming, Circé, Fly and Palinurus are pre-registered. Anybody else planning to come?

It had been discussed at the AGM that more notice would be given to allow people time to dream about making the trip. Seeing as nothing appeared in the last magazine (I think, my magazine never arrived) perhaps the committee could arrange an email newsletter type message to all members to raise awareness.

Looks like a fun week with guaranteed Breton weather!
