Hi George. You'd have to get it out to get a repair done or to get a copy of it made. Repair should be feasible. Find a good welder!

This happened to me too :(

I got a mate to weld one up & got it galvanised. Bit of a pain, but it worked.

finally i could go for the maiden voyage, to the ruegen island and back…
    thanks to sebastian hentschel, too.
i definitely don't regret the buy – and i'll never have a bermuda rig (again)!
it's such fun to sail this rig – and the kingfisher always gives me a secure feeling…

    thank you, annie!
i enjoy the boat and the rig…
and this part of the baltic sea is one of the most beautiful sailing areas around!

Well done, Georg - great to hear of another K20 sailing with junk rig. Sebastian's website is already on our Junk Information > Useful links > Sails, Masts and Gear page, and a link to your blog is on our Junk Information > Useful Links > members' Blogs and Websites page.

I've moved the above posts here from your new topic so it's all in one place.

Gutten Tag, Georg, congratulations, that brought back some memories... I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun. Bitte, if you can write more explicit titles for your very welcome posts it would help members. I've expanded them. Unfortunately your link didn't work; this one should :-) There's 'how to' info on personal album links on our Help page.
