We've just got back from a trip up to the Orkney Islands to visit Hazel and Elizabeth on Alanouwoly. They've given me some video clips of their sailing adventures in Norway and crossing the North Sea, and I've put them into this video (link below). The Alanouwoly part starts at about 4 minutes in.
For those that don't know, Alanouwoly is a converted Freedom 28 junk ketch, with flat sails and hinged battens. We've added a few mods to make her more suitable for live-aboard cruising - a bow roller set up, larger cleats and a chain storage box on the foredeck, solar panels (120W) and a larger (110ah) service battery, an autopilot, "composting" head, vhf with AIS reception, swim ladder on the transom, etc. So far, it's all working very well!
