About 5-10 years ago I was a part-owner of a Folkboat named Chuckle, along with 4 other people.  She was built in 1954 by Harry Feltham of Portsmouth. We kept her on the Exe but before we came along she had spent a lot of time in Cornwall, especially in and around Fowey.

The rig was a fractional bermudan rig at the time we knew her, and although we had some knowledge of the exploits of the marvellous Jester, we had no knowledge of Chuckle ever being junk-rigged - though she may have been re-rigged in the last few years.

I hear that she has gone to Scotland, but have no corroboration of that.

If anyone wants to know more about her, please let me know. Some of the co-owners from my day have longer memories of her than i do.

I have been asked by one of the curators at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall if anyone in the JRA knows anything about a "special small boat" called CHUCKLE.  She is or was apparently very like Jester (if not a sister ship) and may possibly have been junk rigged.   Any information would be useful and I can pass it on.
