Thanks david, I'll read through them again, maybe I'll get more out of them now that I've read PJR.

    Hi Bill,

For newcomers to the rig, this is a very good place to start:

    Hi All :)

I've been looking at the junk rig for a while now and I'd like to put one on my 10' dinghy just to get a feel for the rig.

I found this 78 sq ft sail plan on DuckWorks. it's a bit big, but I thought I'd sail reefed most of the time and use the bottom panel sort of like a ghoster, or just leave the bottom panel off altogether.

after reading PJR I'm not sure this plan is worth bothering with, there's no rise and the camber is a bit far aft.

Is there a collection of junk rig sail plans somewhere? or would I be better off drawing my own?
