Hi everyone. It has been awhile since I was last on here giving an update on building my boat. Unfortunately, I have hit a problem which has bought everything to a halt for a little while. Someone fractured a bone in his shoulder which is making life a bit difficult at the moment. The one good thing is that this happens to be the same time that I am getting an operation done on my right wrist. I will let you know when I get back to work on it and give a progress report on the project.

Ouch!  That sounds painful.  I was spectacularly lucky in not getting any real injuries while building my SibLim, in spite of several times falling backwards off ladders and getting the usual cuts and contusions.  The most chronic damage came from getting bursitis in both knees when laying the deck.  My right knee still has a lump on it.  Oddly, existing long-term injuries in my back and right elbow were generally not exacerbated by the hours of physical work.

I hope that your body recovers well and lets you get back to building soon.  Good luck.
