I have a Freedom 30 with a damaged carbon mast, I thought it would be a great boat for some one to convert to a junk rig, as it is already designed for a free standing mast

It may be possible to shorten the existing mast, cut it down, then convert it to a junk sail.

Sadly I don't  have the time for this project.

The boat is currently in Stuart Florida, and could be taken to Indiantown Marina for the work.

Everything else on the boat is still in working order, we had been sailing in the Bahamas when I noticed the mast defect. So we motored back to Florida.

The boat is listed for sale at the price of $5000, which is a real bargain.
