As my new yacht is approaching completion I have decided  that I must sell my existing 9 m yacht Tralala which I had built here in Turkey and have latterly used to test and trial the  Wingsail system which will be a key element of the new 24m yacht.

Tralala which was featured as ‘yacht of the month’  in February this year was also subject of an article by me in last month’s magazine. Lots of information and photos and video there.

She is a hull designed by Nigel Irens with the rigs designed by Alan Boswell

Arranged as a day sailer and can easily take parties of 6 people on swimming parties around this wonderful coast. She also works as an excellent camper with two comfortable berths,  galley and fridge with an overall tent as sun shade or in the extremely unlikely event rain.

She now has the wing sail that Alan Boswell and I have developed for the new boat but the original Junk rig with the aluminium  hinged battens can also be reinstated.

She has a launching and winter storage 4 wheel trailer  and a 16 hp inboard diesel. If you wanted a more permanent cabin and traditional layout at a modest cost this could easily be achieved. Bozburun is an amazing boat building centre and  I have a huge number of valuable yachting contacts who I would be very happy to pass over.

It is incredibly cheap to keep a yacht like this here based here and you are in the heart of a highly desirable cruising ground with easy access  the Aegean and the wonderful Greek islands.

If there is anyone there interested please contact me. It would be wonderful to pass her onto another Junkie.
