    Hi everyone,

I bought this sale (used) from Robin Blaine at Sunbirds a  few months ago for my Storfidra conversion …and , as Murphy's Law would have it , just recently found a Tanbark Hasler sail better suited to my needs.

I wanted to see if anyone here may need the Fenix rig for theirs.

I paid 450 pound , roughly $700.(US) I would love to get the same if possible.

FYI …the sail is located (now) in Southern California …which would make it easy for an American contemplating a conversion.

The sail is roughly 450 square ft.

    foot approx 16 ft

    total height approx 30 ft.

    good , very usable condition.

If interested , please message me here and I can email you pics and a sail plan.

    thanks

    Jonny

Great!  How are you getting on, Jonny?  Are you going to do a write-up for the magazine.  Please :-)

    Jonny,
if you, after a while, find that you could use some better sailing performance from your flat HM-style sail, there is a quick and dirty method to induce bagginess in each panel. Just look up Newsletter 26, p. 14, and you can see how it is done.
Here is a photo I took a few months later. The sail will, of course, crimp about one panel height, but you can add a panel later if you feel for it.

    Cheers, Arne

Thanks Arne! Great idea! I am about to start getting my yard and battens together with the new / used tanbark Hasler.

    Hi Annie!

I just returned from the U.K. for a few shows and to pick up my new/used sail. She looks to be in great shape and made of tanbark colored Sunbrella (I think)

After putting the mast in , I was forced to slow down a bit due to a shoulder surgery …but , am now itching to get the boat done. I WILL write an article! Promise!!!
