After David Tylers visit on Tuesday I need to change the topping lifts and extend the sheetlets which I hope to do tomorrow. I have arranged to use the yard's crane to support the sail bundle while I carry out this work. Afterwards, if the wind is not too strong, as it has been all week, I hope to go for the long awaited first sail.
As for creases! could I really be that lucky and not have any?

Peter Manning: 21.4.2013: 0842: "Later this afternoon or maybe tomorrow I hope to raise Malliemac's sail and have my fist sail round Preston dock. Fingers crossed!"

Brian Kerslake: 21.4.2013: 2017: "Your 'fist' will be pretty cold after a sail around Preston Dock, so better uncross your fingers first. Hope it went well and you got some pics."

Peter Manning: 22.4.2013: 0809: "Trust an ex-teacher to find my subtle mistake ! Two days hard work rigging Mallie. Almost there, so with a little luck I may be tempted to leave my berth and see what happens when I raise the sail. One thing I am sure about is that when Mr Tyler arrives tomorrow it wont take long for him to spot all my deliberate mistakes !"

Roy Denton: 22.4.2013: 0947: "Here's a photo of the work in progress."

Peter asked me to move various posts that were made in the 'Gecko' topic on the 'Buy, Sell or Swap' forum to a 'Mallie' thread. So here it is.
