Maybe it's one of those tubes which are 200mm for 2/3 its length then tapers, I assumed so anyway.

Sounds like a good length and taper, but I'm unsure about the wall thickness.  My mast is 5mm (with a diameter of 152 mm).  The price is very attractive and I'm sure someone more techie will comment on the wall thickness.

Very cheap! I plugged numbers into the formula, the thin walled 200mm tube is about 15% stronger & lighter than your 152mm, if the same LAP is used. It flexes less too, so is a better mast.

The price sounds very reasonable, as does the taper.  The wall thickness may be a bit light on to my mind, but no doubt someone more techie will be able to answer this.  My spar is 5 mm wall thickness and 152 mm dia at the partners.
