I've just downloaded three charts at 1:80,000 of the area that I'm in, and they appear to be the real deal, if you zoom in closely enough.

North American sailors will want to note this:
The NOAA website has announced that as from next April 13, the traditional paper chart will no longer be printed by the federal government. Print on demand charts will still be available. In one way these are better, since they are corrected up to the date  of printing. In another way, they are not so good - the paper is thinner, and they need to be trimmed of excess paper margins.

However, the good news is that NOAA is running a trial of issuing PDF files of the charts, so in theory, you could take this to a copy shop and get your own print copy. This might be more convenient than sending to Maryland for the P.O.D. copy.
