    Hello

    For those that know me this may be a surprise, but an urgent contract has come up leaving likely this weekend 18th/19th Mar! I doubt someone will come that quick but you never know. Otherwise if the contract rolls on, I'll be back in 8 weeks.

    Originally advertised on here - https://corribee.org/for-sale-and-wanted/ and also previously on here so see for more history and information. It's quite well known.

    I've got a few pictures from today also, but bar a few small jobs that I wanted to do before towing it over to Greece, it's good to go.

    Jobs to do;

    New braked coupling required which I will supply and fit in the sale.

    Double stainless hose clamps needing fitting on all bulkhead fitments, currently single and not sure of the grade.

    Ideally 2 new seacocks required, as I am not happy with the look and condition of the old gates style currently fitted.

    Lick of antifouling.

    Varnish the woodwork.

    I was planning on doing all the above before leaving, but with rain most days and damaging my hand, I decided to wail until I got to Greece with it.

    Other Points;

    It comes with a Suzuki outboard which essentially looks new, was serviced just before I got it and shows with the oils.

    Solar panels and it does charge and has all winter.

    The wheels have been painted on the trailer, obviously will be fitted for towing :)

    New hardwood transom fitted and varnished with titanium bolts and washer.

    There will be loads I've missed, but given the surprise this morning, it's been a mad day and will be until I leave.

    I'm not desperate to sell, but I paid £3k and I am only taking that again. I've fettled, explained the bits that I would do and think it's a fair price, especially with me putting a new trailer coupling on which was seized I found out on the trip back!

    If you are interested, call me as I won't be on this again probably before I go.

    Reason for sale, it was bad enough having to wait all winter to get it to Greece, way it is at present is that it will be another year sat doing nothing.

    Thanks

    Hi Andrew,

    I have just got a Coronandel called 'Butterfly' Otherwise I'd be wanting to buy TP back. (I sold the Twister at last.)

    Do you want me to give you the emails of a couple of keen people who were after TP? I strongly sggest that you advertise on Apollo Duck, where I got a quick response.

    Best regards,

    Mike

    Hi Mike

    Congrats on the big sale but unlucky timing here.

    This job came out of the blue two days ago but since learning the rota, I'm not even sure if I'll be here to even sell it now.

    Appreciate if you do ping the old enquiries but all I can do is keep them posted unless they move very fast.

    Worst case is it sits there for a year and I try for next years attempt!

    Enjoy the new sail

    Regards

    Andrew

    It just goes to prove the old adage that 'work is the curse of the sailing classes'!

    I would add children into that also Annie.

    Mike. Many thanks for the email you must have sent. I've had a couple of enquiries already.
