Batwing will be for sale after this cruising year in Mexico. She is one of the boats featured in the Practical Junk Rig.

She is a 1974 Ed Monk designed Skookum 34' with two previous owners. Her hull is extra thick as was custom in the 70's. We have had her for 16 years. Now it's time to downsize to a trailerable junkrigged boat.

She's a world cruising rig and we sailed her from Canada to Ecuador and points in between for the past 16years. She has been a safe, reliable, workhorse with 38 hp Yanmar engine, AIS/VHF radio, auto pilot, depthsounder, radar, gps, you supply the chart plotter. Sails new in 2010, sewn in Panama following Arne  Kverneland design. Montgomery 7/11 dinghy with dinghy dogs and sail rig. We added the African queen and higher metal railing in 2006. We continue to maintain her and sail every winter in Mexico. She is kept in Gabriel's boatyard, Marina Seca Guayma mid April to mid November. She will be viewable when we are in Mexico, as we need to set her up for viewing. This year in Conception Bay Baja, From after Christmas to the end of March 2018. Just contact us to make arrangements to view her. $29,900
