you are all going the wrong way!! lol. i was thinking of going north around may but i will see how things progress with the boat prep first. (everything with the boat is an unknown at this point so i might just hang in moreton bay. there are still some soft spots to take care of but i will do them on the mooring which i have picked up in Victoria point. living aboard on the hard is no fun so looking to splash next week.

Welcome to the madhouse Sy Tata (no name?)

Anyway, we were in SE QLD but as Graham says we're down in Gosford presently (and we had very good sail in company with Arion too!). You should get that boat of yours floating and join the rally down here, its on whenever you show up :)

We may be sailing down to Gippsland, Vic this Summer, not set in stone yet, maybe set of from Sydney on Boxing Day, but Susie doesn't like that idea for some reason... Anyhow, the idea is to meet a good friend of ours, who has a Badger too, Cloudchaser.  cheers

Ashiki (Gary and Susie King) is now in Broken Bay just north of Sydney.  Wild Fox I last heard of around Brisbane.  Isabella was also up there somewhere. I think they were all heading south though. Ashiki expects to be heading north again early in 2016.

It's a Build A Boat nesting dinghy design I slightly modified for stitch and tape. I have a thread in Build/Repair on the Woodenboat forum. The thread is called Ship to Shore.

I'll put a couple of photos in my profile gallery.

Some yachtie friends looking for a new dinghy test rowed Beetle the other day and were quite impressed. There was a good breeze blowing that was quite stiff at times so it was a good test. Now they want one.:)

    Gaz, what design is Beetle?

There is an immaculate Babger anchored in the Tweed right now. Her name is Isabella, she is owned by a chap named Eric and hails from Mooloolaba. I haven't met him yet but I'd like to.

So up till a couple weeks ago there were four Badgers in SE Queensland. Ashiki, Isabella, Wild Fox and Sun Raiker (Badger stretched to 40' and sold a couple months ago in Brisbane). Coulda been the biggest Badger rally yet..
